• Start DVD2AVI v1.76 (included with GordianKnot.) Version 1.77.3 WILL NOT WORK.

• Select file->Open. Select the first file created by DVD-decrypter, and DVD2AVI will load all files with increasing number from the first. In a moment you will get a list of loaded vobs. If you want to load more vobs the press ADD and repeat the process. Then press OK

• Make a quick check to determine if you have a NTSC or PAL clip. If you have a PAL clip the you can skip the rest of this paragraph. If you have NTSC you should use the ([) and (]) buttons together with the slider at the bottom to select a sequence in the middle of the film (minimum 1 minute). The press F5 (preview) and let DVD2AVI play the sequence. When the preview is done you should check the field that says 'Video Type'. If it does say FILM without a percentage then select video->Field Operation->Force FILM. If it says FILM xx%, NTSC yy% or NTSC then make sure Force FILM is NOT selected. Then re-select the whole clip again.

• Make sure Audio->Track Number->Track 1 is selected. Also select Audio->Dolby Digital->Demux All Tracks

• Then select File->Save Project and wait a while until the statistics window says finished
